覚え方
stumble は、足元が乱れて一歩を正しく踏み出せず、「つまずく・踏み外す」という動きを表す。歩いている途中で体のバランスが崩れ、前によろめく場面を思い浮かべると覚えやすい。
物理的に転びそうになるだけでなく、stumble over words（言葉につまずく）のように、話すときに言葉が出てこない意味にも使う。stumble は足元や発言が一瞬引っかかることと覚えよう。
