覚え方
ne（〜ない）+ one（一） で「一つも〜ない」。数えられるものにも数えられないものにも使え、None of them came.（誰も来なかった）のように of と組む形が中心になる。
同じ ne が付いた合成語は英語に多く、never（ne + ever）・neither・nor が並ぶ。no も ne と a（一つの）が縮まった形で、none とは後半が one か a かの違い。
発音は one と違って「ナン」。None of them is / are の両方が使われ、話し言葉では複数扱いが普通。
