覚え方
registrar は register（登録簿）+ -ar（その仕事をする人を表す）で、「登録簿を管理する人」＝登録官・記録係。
大学では履修登録や成績・学籍の記録を扱う部署や責任者を指し、「教務係・教務課」と訳される。ほかに出生や婚姻の登録を扱う役人、ドメイン名の登録事業者（domain registrar）もこの語である。
