incline（傾ける・傾く）+ -ed（過去分詞） で「傾いた」。*en-（中へ） の方向が入った incline は「こちら側へ傾ける」で、その結果の状態を表すのが inclined。
物なら「傾斜した」（an inclined plane 斜面）、人なら「気持ちがそちらへ傾いている＝〜しがちだ」。be inclined to do（〜する傾向がある／〜したい気がする）が最頻の形で、断定を避けた柔らかい言い方にもなる（I'm inclined to agree. どちらかと言えば賛成だ）。
