inconsiderate

in-（〜でない）+ considerate（思いやりのある）。considerate は「よく考えたうえで振る舞う」で、それを打ち消して「相手のことを考えていない＝思いやりのない」。

非難の語気があり、It was inconsiderate of you to...（〜するとは配慮に欠けていた）の形でよく使う。rude が直接的な失礼を指すのに対し、inconsiderate は「自分の行動が他人に及ぼす影響を考えていない」という不作為寄りの批判。

inconsiderate（思いやりのない）と inconsiderable（取るに足りない）は別語なので取り違えに注意。名詞は inconsiderateness より lack of consideration と言うことが多い。
