teaser は tease「からかう、じらす」に -er が付いた名詞で、「からかう人」や「気を引くための短い予告」を意味する。相手へ少し働きかけ、反応や好奇心を引き出すのが共通点だ。人が冗談を言う場面と、映像が作品の一部を見せる場面を、興味を刺激する働きで結び付けられる。
